Hargreaves Lansdown was built on direct marketing, and their Co-Founder and CEO, Peter Hargreaves says Commonsense Direct Marketing was one of his guides. Although they do most of their creative, he also wrote: “I value the partnership which seems to have to have grown between our two firms”;.

The insert we created has helped build up their very large database. The letter to accountants – which offers the same incentive, a Guide to SIPPs, got a 23% response – their highest ever.
More recently a mailing and e-mail follow-up to 55,000 people who had been repeatedly approached but had not acted produced over £6.5 million in business in 6 weeks.
